“Stacey takes readers by the hand and leads them down the garden path in this cleverly plotted traditional British mystery"
“Daniel decided the time for talking was over.
‘Taz?’ he said, quietly, and saw the gleam of the German shepherd’s eyes as he glanced up, enquiringly. He pointed at Billy Driscoll. ‘Take him!’
Taz needed no second bidding. Silent and swift now the talking was over, he rocketed from Daniel’s side and launched himself at Driscoll."

Having fun with books
Have you ever wondered where your books travel to?
Books can be cherished and stacked on shelves, but they can also being living things. Their stories can be shared and to that end I often wander where my books end up.
For a bit of fun, I thought I would put 50 of my books out into the world. They have been left in random places (out of the weather) to be picked up, read, hopefully enjoyed, and re-released back into the world.
If you find one, please get in touch, (email or facebook) maybe with a picture of where you found it or where you leave it.
A runaway horse propels freelance journalist Ben Copperfield into the life of multi-millionaire businessman Neville Manning.
Manning has everything money could buy, but money can’t solve his current problem. He’s dying – and after the tragic death of his only child, there’s no one he’s willing to leave his business to. Manning has just one hope left; a grandchild, whose mother’s name he doesn’t even know.
With the odds stacked against him, Ben accepts the challenge and sets out to find this mystery grandchild. But little does he know that the trail to finding Manning’s heir is paved with murder, intrigue and revenge… and it won’t just be finding the heir to Manning’s fortune that’s the problem, it’ll be keeping the child alive long enough to claim it.
